The artworks are part of a series exploring the hidden narratives behind seemingly ordinary objects, revealing deeper, unsettling layers beneath their facades. Made in response to the October 7th Hamas terror attacks on Israel and the war in Gaza, these artworks draw from the narratives of the survivors and the impactful media images observed through media coverage depicting the scattered aftermath of toys, household items, and other debris. In these artworks, I try to convey the vulnerability of innocent lives affected by violence and explore the fragility of hope in the face of adversity, and the complex interplay between innocence and violence. The images resonate with broader themes like domestic abuse, homicide, tragedies and disasters, the focus remains on the universal pain left behind for the families and the victims.
