My work deals with current issues and stems from being an artist living in a world where the number of events and their severity exceeds any imagination. Hence I translate my personal cry into an artistic engagement with the materials used as a symbol of the situation. The human tragedies that occur in Israel and everywhere in the world do not give me any rest. In my work I try to make people to stop, look, think and experience. Regarding the choice of the subject of the work, I choose it according to the inner feeling and this guides me in the choice of materials and colors. The harder the message I want to convey, the less color I use. I believe that a quiet aesthetic gives viewers the opportunity to think without interruption. The soldiers' discs have become in my work a surface on which I express my feelings as a human being and as a mother in a world teeming with wars. From the bottom of my heart I turn to every human in the world and ask that together we allow our children a better world.
