Awakening to the echoes of sirens on October 7th, 2023, amid Hamas’ assault, I initially grappled with the shock. Eventually, my emotions found voice in my art, an ongoing journey that unfolds in these pieces created in the aftermath of that pivotal day.
I was born in India in 1965. My family moved to Israel in 1966. I grew up in Israel and went to the army. After my army service, I left for NYC, where I lived for 15 years, studied art at the Art Students League, and worked as a graphic designer. After 15 years in NYC, I moved to Brazil and lived there for 2 years. I came back to Israel at the end of 2000. And I have been living in Israel ever since. I work as a graphic designer, but my main passion is art.
